There will be a prayer session for the two Westmeath victims this evening at 8pm.
The bodies of the two has been in repose at the Glennon’s Funeral home, Ballinalee Road in Longford.
The reposition started at 4pm and end at 8pm with the prayer session.
Thelma (5) and Mikey Dennany (2) died in a horrific car fire incident which has been confirmed to have been set deliberately.
This is what a spokesperson for the Glennon’s Funeral Home had to say regarding the 8pm evening service.
He said the place is “quite large” and the car park will be able to accommodate members of the public, who may wish to take part in the prayers. The car park can be used until the indoor capacity is reached.
This prayer service is coming on ahead of the funeral service which is expected on Thursday at 11.00am.
A spokesperson for Catholic Communications Office said:“Mass of the Angels will be celebrated in Saint Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, this Thursday at 11.00am with interment afterwards in Cullyfad Cemetery.”
It will be Father Sean Casey, Parish Priest of Killoe, Co Longford, will be the chief celebrant for the funeral mass.
