Who was Private Robert Myers?
He is a 39 year old Irishman who was serving in the UK police.
He is originally from Kilkenny in Ireland.
He was based in Worthy Down in Hampshire.
The young officer was a member of the Royal Logistics Corps.
He was said to have been struck by a BMW car around 2.10pm on Sunday.
The incident allegedly occurred in an area called Down Farm lane which is in Headbourne.
Private Robert Myers was said to be walking at the time at the place which has been described to be two miles from North of Winchester.

He was taken to the Hospital at Southampton General Hospital, but unfortunately died after two days.
Organs were of Private Robert Myers were donated:family sources.
His family has indicated that his organs were donated to four people boasting their chance of living well.
Specialist police officers are are said to be liaising with his family in the hope of supporting them.
Private Robert Myers family released a statement in which they said he was
“Son, brother, friend, comrade. Robert is greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

“In life, Robert pursued new opportunities and found his happiness and fulfillment. In death, Robert gave the greatest gift, a chance at life to four people through organ donation.”
Investigations are ongoing after Private Robert Myers death.
Constabulary Sergeant Spencer Wragg , who is the Police spokesperson for Hampshire has indicated that investigations are ongoing.
He added that they are looking into the circumstances that led to the crashing of the officer.
They appealed for witnesses to come forward to help in investigations.
He said ” I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision but may have left prior to police arrival to come forward”.
