The couple says: “We have decided to separate. We respectfully request that our privacy be respected at this time as we traverse this new stage of our lives as two people who sincerely love and care for one another.
While in Italy celebrating her 51st birthday with a group of pals, the “Modern Family” star is missing Manganiello and her wedding band.
According to a source, “Sofia and Joe have been drifting apart for a while now and are putting some distance between themselves to contemplate their future.”
With the pair been last seen together in Hoboken, New Jersey, last month, Vergara visited 46 year old Manganiello, while he was filming “Nonnas” with Vince Vaughn.
Vergara, who is a judge on the NBC sensation “America’s Got Talent,” is in Capri with her best pals and appears to be having the time of her life as she shares a number of sensual Instagram photographs.
When life offers you lemons, you come to Italy to squeeze them, Vergara subsequently said on Instagram, indicating that Manganiello’s absence was noted by his followers.
