Who were Andrew O’Donnell and Max Wall?
Andrew O’Donnell was 18 years old while Max Wall was his age mate.
The two were Leaving Cert students.
The pair died tragically in the Greece Island of Ios.

Andrew was a student of St. Michael’s College.

Andrew O’Donnell went missing on Friday. His lost sparked an intensive search for the 18 year old.
O’Donnell body was discovered at a place not far from cliff which is the Chora, the main town.
His remains were discovered on Sunday, two days after he went missing.
Max Wall was a year mate with Andrew. He was sick at the time his colleagues were searching for Andrew O’Donnell.

He was found unconscious around the port area of the Island.
The late 18 year old was rushed to hospital where he sadly passed away.
Max Wall was a graduate of the St. Michael’s College in Ballsbridge which is located in South Dublin.
He was among the almost 90 students who went to the Greece Island to celebrate their end of exams.
When will Andrew O’Donnell and Max Wall remains be brought to Ireland?
The remains of the two former Irish students will be arriving in the country in a couple of days.
The parents of the two teenagers have traveled to the Greece Island to begin the process of repatriating their remains back home.
The bodies will first be brought to the Athens where a post-mortem will be performed.
It is after the post-mortem examination that the remains of Andrew O’Donnell and Max Wall will be brought to Ireland.
