Who is Warwick Tollemache?
He is 35 year old man. He was an Australian man and a passenger on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum.
Tollemache was on the ship which was moving from from Brisbane to Honolulu.

He has been described by his family as a man with a “gentle soul”.
His family said:“Our family is heartbroken at the loss of our beloved Warwick. He was a kind, beautiful, and gentle soul who was adored by everyone who knew him,” Mandy Tollemache said in a statement from the family. “He will be deeply missed.”
How did Warwick Tollemache get into the sea?
He went into the Ocean at a spot which is 500 miles to the South of Kailua Kona.
This happened after 11pm on Tuesday.
This forced the ship to remain at the location for about two hours.
The crew searched for their missing passenger, but could not trace him.
They later had to move ahead after handling over the search to the local authorities.
A statement from the cruise ship said:
“While on its trans-pacific sailing, a guest onboard Quantum of the Seas went overboard,” a spokesperson for Royal Caribbean said. “The ship’s crew immediately launched a search and rescue operation and is working closely with local authorities.”
US Coast Guards called off search for Warwick Tollemache
The search for Tollemache has been called off by the US Coast Guard. This was after a discussion with his next of kin.

A statement from the Coast Guards said:“After reviewing all relevant information of the case and discussing it with the next of kin, the Coast Guard has made the difficult decision to suspend the active search for the passenger aboard the Quantum of the Seas”.
