Who was Tim O’Sullivan?

The story of the death of Tim O’Sullivan is strange and still amaze many who have heard of it.

He died in  a home and is believed to have laid dead in the property for 20 years.

It is interesting that, no one heard of scent at the time, he was decaying. The utility services never also visited the project for either water, light or any other service.

But, who was Tim O’Sullivan?

He was a man from Kerry, who was in his sixties. O’Sullivan was the owner of the property.

Locals and neighbours say, they stopped seeing him around 20 years ago.

They say, they though he was in a psychiatric Unit in Cork as he has a previous history of the disease.

Tim O”Sullivan used to work in the UK as a printer. However, he never worked when he returned to Ireland.

How was Tim O’Sullivan body discovered?

There were complains that the property in which he died was vermin infested.

The cork Council staff then visited the property and made the historic discovery of Tim’s remains.

His remains are said to have been found in a bed and covered with a duvet.

Gardai found Butter in the house which its expiration date to be 2001.

It was this that gave the indication that he might have died some 20 years ago.

His property is said to be a “single-storey terraced”.

The house  which the late printer worker, Tim owned was “derelict and boarded up”.

The cork Council had order to proceed to the property.

How was Tim O’Sullivan identified?

There was a dental record activity on his remains and that is how he was identified.

The Cork Council had planned to remove the boards which are on the windows so as to enable them have access to the house. They also planned to close up the drains to the property and to allow for vermin control  by the an unnamed company.

Who are Tim O’Sullivan relatives?

It has been reported that, his family has been buried in Cahersiveen in Co Kerry.
Dr. Margaret Bolster, who is Assistant Pathologist carried out a postmortem examination on Tim’s remains.
Gardai do not suspect foul play on his death.
