He used to work as a American Football coach as well as an executive.
He worked with the New York Giants and his days with the Giants spanned from 2004 t0 2015.
He was also the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars described as their inaugural coach.

She died today,2nd November,2022 at the age of 77. She shared four kids with Tom.
They are Keli and Kati their two daughters. The rest include Brian and Tim, their two sons.
Tom is said to always take five days off every season to be with his wife Judy. This was during his active days in the NFL as coach of the New York Giants.
This always gives him time to bond with Judy Coughlin, whom he has been married with since 1967.
Judy supported the career of her husband. She had to made some movements with him, like moving from Boston College to New York so that her husband can achieve his dreams in his career.
She has been seen with him at most major public gatherings.
She was equally involved in her husband Jay foundation. She appeared with him in most fundraising ventures.
The fund is being managed by their daughter, Keli who is its chief executive director.
