Who was John Kelly?
He was a 58 year old fisherman.
His family home is located at Shanreagh Park in Derry.
He had a son by name Jack.
He died at a Donegal beach. This follows barely two weeks after, he was warned about the dangers of the beach.
His body was found a day after he was declared missing.
Mr Kelly wore a black Addidas backpack as he went for his fishing expedition.

He told Letterkenny Courthouse hearing inquest into Mr Kelly death that:
He said, he saw something like a bag and when he got closed, he realized that it was a body.
He added that he immediately noticed the coastguard and local doctor later confirmed that he was dead.
John Kelly was warned about the Donegal beach, two weeks to his death.
The local doctor, One Dr. McBride said she spoke to a another fisherman by name Danny Shiels, who told her that He(Danny Shiels) warned Mr. Kelly about the dangers of the beach.
Danny Shiels said he saw Mr. Kelly coming out of the beach with his boots being filled with water.
Dr. Katriona Dillion, a pathologist at the LetterKenny University also discovered a number of Cuts with abrasions on late Kelly’s face.
This further confirms that he died through drowning.
