Jean Kuczka, who is a victim of the St Louis Central Visual and performing arts school will be discussed in this article.

Who was Jean Kuczka?

She is a 61 year old woman from  Jefferson County.

She was married to Stephen Kuczka, her husband.

She was physical education teacher in the school.

Jean Kuczka had her high school education at Lindbergh  High school, where she graduated in 1979.

She furthered her education at the Southwest Missouri State University.

She went there on a scholarship from her performance of Hockey.

She was a member of the school’s 1979 championship team.

Jean Kuczka experience as a tutor.

She has several years of experience in teaching.

Kuczka taught at Seven Holy Founders which is in South of St Louis County.

She taught physical education there for 16 years. She later moved to Carr Lane Middle school where she taught PE.

It was from there that she was transferred to her current school of Central Visual and Performing Arts.

She came to her current school in 2008 and has been there, till she met her death yesterday.

Aside the PE, Kuczka also taught health and personal finances at the school.

Kuczka love for teaching made her to start coaching cross country in a school which is not far from her current school. This school where Kuczka was coaching cross country is SLPS.

Her daughter explained her decision to take up the coaching course at SLPS.

She said:“This was her first year of empty-nesting, and she was looking for something extra to do,” Abigail Kuczka said. “She was definitely looking forward to retirement though. She was close.”

Kuczka who is said to love biking was a mother. She left behind  two sons and three daughters.
One of of her children is police officer at Eureka.
She also had seven grand children.
