Who was Jack Burnell-Williams?

He was an 18 year old soldier.

The soldier who is simply called Jak has a 42 year old mother by name Laura.

Jack Burnell-Williams was from Bridgend in South Wales.

He was one of their recent recruits.

He was part of the procession during Queen Elizabeth II funeral.

He was found dead  in his baracks which is Hyde Park Barracks in Knighsbridge in London.

This is less than two weeks as when the soldier walked before the Queen’s coffin.

The police service as well as paramedics were called into try and help in saving the soldiers life, but it was not successful.

Police say they don’t suspect anything in the 18th year old soldier.

Tributes pour out for Jack Burnell-Williams.

His family through his mother shared what has been called an emotional tribute in her son’s honour.
She wrote this along with her son’s picture:

“Never ever thought I would be saying this but we as a family are all heartbroken with the sudden passing of our wonderful son Jak Williams yesterday.”

There was confirmation from the Metropolitan police. Their spokesperson said: “An 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

“The death was unexpected, it has been investigated and is not being treated as suspicious. Officers will assist with preparing a report for the coroner.”
