She died at the scene, as the river is said to have swell due to recent heavy downpours.
Garda called for witnesses in their bid to unravel Dr Sara Ahmed death?
The incident happened just before midnight, when Gardai and other services were alerted to the accident.
Her body was taken to her previous work place for a postmortem examination.
Dr Sara Ahmed colleagues were shocked in the bizarre manner in which she died.
Meanwhile, Gardai are calling for witnesses to her accident to come forward.
They say, all those with camera footage like dash cams should come forward in helping them unravel how the accident happened.
