He was an Irish rally driver who was born on 2nd February,1990. The late 33 year old driver drove part time for Hyundai team during the World Rally Championships.
Craig Breen was a huge pillar in the Rally as he won the “2012 Super 2000 WRC”.
Breen also scored class wins in the following: Monte Carlo Rally, Wales Rally GB, Rally France and the Rally of Spain.
That is not the record of the late 33 year old also include he winning the WRC Academy Cup back in 2011.
He equally won the 2021 Rentokil Historic Rally in Killarney in his native Ireland county of Kerry.

He was the son of an Irish national Champion in rallying. He is the son of Ray Breen.

Craig Breen career starting from his early days.
His career began in his native Ireland in karting way back in 1999.
His rally career began in 2007 and he was doing both Karting and his rallying. He had commitments in karting in Europe in 2008/
His switch to fully time rallying was in 2009. He took part in competitions in Ireland, Britain and during international Fiesta.
He won three championships in the International Fiesta Sporting Trophys. He continued to win the Fiesta sport trophy international shootout.
This made him gain a twelve month contract with M-sport.
He was crowned as the Young Irish Rally driver of the year.
Craig Breen also received the Billy Coleman ward.
What is the cause of Craig Breen death?
He died today 13th April,2023 through a crash. Yes, the famous Rally driver crashed while driving in the Hyudi i20 Rally 1 rally car during a testing session.
This was in the 2023 Croatia Rally.
The details of the accident is that the front left of his car reportedly collided with that of a pole. This happened on the road between “Stari Golubovec and Lobor at 12.40 pm local time”.
The 33 year old was said to be fatally injured. However his co-driver in the person of James Fulton escaped unhurt.
The company released a statement on Breen’s death sying: “Hyundai Motorsport is deeply saddened to confirm that driver Craig Breen today lost his life following an accident during the pre-event test for Croatia Rally.
“Co-Driver James Fulton was unharmed in the incident that occurred just after midday local time.
“Hyundai Motorsport sends its sincerest condolences to Craig’s family, friends and his many fans.
“Hyundai Motorsport will make no further comment at this time.”
