Who was Catherine O Donnell?
She was a 39 year old woman.
She had gone to the service station with her son.
The name of her son is 13 year old James Monaghan.
Catherine is said to have made a stop over at the station from school.
It is not clear if they had stopped there to buy fuel or buy groceries from the station shop.
13 year old James Monaghan was a student of Mulroy College.

James Monaghan’s school sent out an emotional tribute in their honor.
They wrote:
“We as a school community are devastated on hearing of the tragedy and the fatal outcome for our two beautiful students and our cherished parents.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families and the Creeslough community at this time.
“We are numbed by this overwhelming sadness and will work together to support all members of our school community in the coming days, weeks and months ahead.”
