Who is Williams Ruto's Wife?

Williams Ruto has reportedly won the Kenyan election. Thought four out of the country’s seven commissioners of the election body is disputing the results, he stands elected as Kenya president.

According to the commission’s Deputy Chairperson Juliana Cherera, who is one of the four, they  “cannot take the ownership of the results” of the presidential election because of “opaque nature”.

Who is Williams Ruto?

William Samoei Arap Ruto is a Kenyan politician who have just been elected President of Kenya.

Ruto was born 21st December 1966 to  Daniel Cheruiyot and Sarah Cheruiyot.

Williams Ruto had his primary education at Kerotet Primary School. He continue to Wareng Secondary School for his Ordinary Levels.

Ruto then studied BSC in Botany and Zoology from the famous University of Nairobi, which he graduated in 1990.

Ruto became an MP from 1998 to 2013, serving as a Minister of Home Affairs under former President Daniel Arap Moi and Minister of Agriculture under Mwai Kibaki era.

He was elected as Deputy President alongside Uhuru Kenyatta under a Jubilee Alliance. Williams Ruto stood as a Presidential candidate for the UDA party during which he won as president in the first round.

Who is Williams Ruto’s Wife?

Williams Ruto got married to his wife Rachel Chebet Ruto in 1991.They had their first child by name Nick Ruto when they were staying at Dagoretti.

Rachel Ruto then continued to the Butere Girls High School for her old levels and A levels respectively.

Rachel Ruto got her bachelors degree from the Kenyatta University which was a degree in Education.
