She is the elder sister of Maggie King, a stage and screen actress. Joan Sydney appeared in most production along with her sister,Maggie.

She came to London in 1965 from her based in Australia.  She worked Australia, before moving to London.

He is the son of Joan Sydney. Tony Braxton-Smith is a former CEO of Journey, a private  Australia company that operates Interstate experiential tourism trains.

Tony Braxton-Smith  was in the  “incognito in the new season of reality hit Undercover Boss Australia”.

It was a dream come true for him, as he wanted to be a famous person.

He said his dream has come true. He spoke about his role in Undercover Boos Australia.

“I have said to her for a number of years, ‘mum my greatest dream is one day to be somewhere where I’ll be the one in the spotlight and they say this is Tony Braxton-Smith who everyone knows and this is his mum Joan’,” he said.

“So my dream actually came true.”
