It was told in court that Thomas and her sister had a rough upbringing. They said their condition was “extreme neglect, poverty and violence”. “They never had a chance.”
The judge, Justice David Keane praised Sheehan, the suspect’s sister for “her resilience”.
The judge also sympathies with her for what he called the“psychological pain and suffering she has experienced”.
Thomas Sheehan have several histories of crime.
Thomas allegedly confessed of his crime while he was in jail. His crime included criminal damages, possessing of a knife and threat to kill.
The siblings last parent who was their mother died while they were seven and nine years respectively.
Ms Sheehan admitted to being abused; She said:“He sexualised me at a very young age when I should have been a child, far removed from this abuse,” She further added:
“I will never forgive him for what he has done.”
