Who is Muhammad Syed? Father of Shaheen Syed.

Muhammad Syed is a 51 year old man. He is a suspect who have been charged with multiple killings of Muslims in New Mexico, a state in the USA.

Syed is a refugee from Afghanistan who has been living in the US for five years.

He killed one Aftab Hussein,  a cafe employee on 26th July. He was also named as the killer of planning director Muhammad Afzaal Hussain on August 1,2022.

The killings has been linked to the Sunni-Shia divisions back in his native country of Afghanistan.

Shaheen Syed is a 21 year old man who has been arrested and denied bail.

He is facing charges from federal authorities of “knowingly making false statements to investigators about the weapons and vehicle alleged to have been used in at least two of the killings”.

Judge John Robbenhaar  has determine that there are enough evidence to denied Shaheen Sye bail.

Cellphone has been able to prove that Shaheen was in the “general area” of Albuquerque as his father at a time one of his father’s victims was killed.

However, Syed’s attorney in the person of John Anderson said the allegations were “exceedingly thin and speculative.”
