He was born on 1st July,1925 as Arthur Ignatius McNally.

He was an American football executive, who worked as director of officiating at the American National Football League(NFL).

Art McNAlly career spanned from 1968 all the way to 1991. He took over from Mark Duncan, who handed over to him in 1968.

Before assuming the role of director of officiating, he had worked as a field judge and referee for as many as 9 years.

Art McNally had a record  of officiating more than 3000 baseball, football and basketball games in a 22 year long career span.

He spent one year in the National Basketball Association.

He set the record of being enshrined into the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame.

He was done that honour in 2022.

Who was Rita McNally?

She is the first wife of Art McNally. McNally was married to him until in 1980.

Rita McNally died in 1980. Not much is known of Rita Art McNally.
