He was also a Jazz pianist as well as an executive in advertising with the then McCaffrey &McCall advertising agency.

It has been reported that George Newall conceived the idea of Schoolhouse Rock along with McCaffrey &McCall director David McCall.

He died on 30th November,2022.  He was 88 and is said to have died from cardiopulmonary arrest, according to the New York Post.

She was the wife of American producer, George Newall. Lisa Maxwell survived her husband and is the one who revealed the cause of death of the schoolhouse Rock co-creator as Cardiopulmonary arrest.

Her husband’s life is to be celebrated on this coming Saturday. Lisa Maxwell will be present as George Newal will be celebrated at the  St. Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson.

George  and L. Maxwell had no children of their own. He became a father due to Lisa Maxwell son, she had from other relationships.
