John Bird born as John Michael Bird  was a British actor and satirist.

The actor who died at 86, rose to fame performing satire in the 1960s. He also appeared in programmes such as That Was The Week That Was.

He was born on 22nd November,1936.John Bird had television roles and chances. He appeared on the TV series

Bremner, Bird and Fortune and long with John Fortune and  Rory Bremner.

John Bird was born in Bulwell in Nottingham to his father, who was a chemist shop owner.

John had difficulty with his 11 plus exams and had to transfer from his previous school to High Pavement Grammar school.

He was able to make it pass the entrance exams to the famous King’s College in Cambridge.

John Bird read English and even went ahead to do his second degree.

He had comic roles in television series such as Red and Blue, A Dandy in Aspic, Take  A Girl Like You among others.

Actor and satirist John Bird also starred in the BBC King Lear,  which is a Shakespeare production.
