Who is Kofi Adoma and why do they want him dead?

Kofi Adoma Nwanwani of Angel FM has escaped death narrowly. The news of his attack broke on Sunday morning.
Who is Kofi Adoma?
Stephen Kofi Adoma is Ghanaian teacher, Journalist and Philanthropist.
He was born on 20th July in Berekum in the now Bono region of Ghana.
Kofi Adoma who is the director of news at Angel Broadcasting Network(ABN) started as a trained teacher. Adoma taught for some time and felt a strong desire in Journalism and he pursued it at Shalom Radio in Berekum, where he worked a host of a program. He moved to GBC Volta Star Radio and then to Fox FM.
His great exploits in journalism saw him moved from Kumasi to Accra to Hot FM.
Kofi Adoma later pitch camp with Adom FM of the Multimedia group where he was a lead news anchor especially for their 6pm news. When the Multimedia Group added TV to their brand, Kofi Adoma hosted programs on Adom TV.
While still at the Multimedia group, Kofi Adoma started Kofi TV, a YouTube based channel with which the broadcaster interview celebrities, politicians and even Pastors.
Kofi Adoma had to leave Adom FM/TV under a controversial circumstance. Many say he had to leave because management of the station wanted him to leave his YouTube based channel, the Kofi TV.
He later joined Angel FM/TV when they came to Accra and he was their news anchor, before rising the level to become their current director of news.
When Captain smart left their popular morning show the Anopa Bofoↄ morning show, the lot fell on Kofi Adoma to take over the hot seat and he has not disappointed the loyal listeners/viewers of the station. The journalist is married to Miracle Adoma.
Who wants Kofi Adoma dead?
It has been reported by Angel News that the Journalist “has been on the radar of the assailants for some time now, as he indicated earlier this year”.
Angel News further revealed that the journalist opened up about how he has been living with insecurities lately.(Kofi opened up about insecurities ).
Kofi Adoma spoke about how he received countless threats from strangers including warnings to render his life miserable.He added that some criminal gangs accounted him last year on motorbikes and smashed the glasses of his car when the journalist was on his way home from December 31st night service.
He added that “I had to get a Police escort home,” indicating how he made it out of the danger he found himself in at the time. Kofi said he reported the cases to the Ghana Police Service, indicating that “The Police Headquarters can testify that I have been there countless times to make reports. Tessano Police can attest to my coming there.”
It looks like the reality of those insecurities the journalist spoke about came to him as he narrowly escaped death from “an attack by some unidentified persons” at a suburb of Accra called Agbogba.

The said incident happened on Saturday 6th August while the Journalist was driving on the road.
Kofi Adoma detailed his attack as follows:he was trailed to the earlier mentioned incident by the men on motorbikes from Kutunse. The journalist said he sense danger and veered off the road to take refuge in China Mall within the Agbogba enclave.
He decided to continue his journey after waiting for some time and that was when the attack happened.
The journalist sustained multiple knife wounds on his left arm, and his forehead also shows some lacerations from the attack. The assailants attempted more harm as they dosed him with a liquid substance which is suspected to be gasoline.
The journalist manage to escape into a nearby shop and took refuge and then called for support.
Kofi Adoma is now receiving treatment from a hospital in Accra and the case has been reported to the police.
