Being king of the Zulu nation of South Africa is a big thing. There is a coronation under way for the man the recognized as king.
The Zulus are the largest ethnicity in South Africa with more than 12 million people. They are mainly located in the coastal province of KwaZulu-Natal.
So who is this king who is to be coronated today.

Misuzulu Sinqobile Hlomesakhishlangu kaZwelithini is the reigning king of the Zulu Nation.
He was born on 23rd September,1974 to King Goodwill Zwelithini and Great wife, Queen Mantfombi Dlamini.
He is the the third living son of his father and the first of his mother. His mother was a Queen and a great one of course.

King Misuzulu became heir to the throne after the passing of his father on 12th March,2021.
He was officially appointed as the next Zulu King, but the coronation has been pushed forward to today,2oth August,2022, a year after his official appointment.
Who are King Misuzulu ka Zwelithini wives?
King Musuzulu has two wives at the moment. His late father had six wives and it is not clear if he will go beyond the two he has at the moment.
His first wife is his long time partner Ntokozo Mayisela. He got married to her on 6th May,2021, just a day to his late mother’s funeral.
King Misuzulu reportedly met Ntokozo in 2009 during the wedding of her sister Princess Bukhosibemvelo.
He paid her Lobola ( bribe prize) in 2021 which was made up of eight cows and fifty thousand Rands.
King Misuzulu has two children with his first wife.
His second wife is from her mother’s country of Eswatini. She is in the person of Queen Nozizwe Mulela.
He is said to have paid the lobola and performed other cultural ceremonies, but the wedding is yet to take place.
He does not have children with his second wife.
