 Thieves return a watch to victim after realizing it was fake. This happened in no other place than Naples in Italy which have been touted as being second to none when it comes to hospitality.
The experience of this tourist who was a victim this bizarre scene will be different from the hospitality that is associated with the ancient city.
The tourist was robbed of his watch at gunpoint and the thieves in a bizarre manner return it later when they realized that it was fake.
The tourist who is from Switzerland sat for a drink with his fellow tourist and just before midnight. It was a Sunday in Piazza Trieste e Trento and he was accosted by a young man who pull out a gun.
The thief held the gun at his head, one of the two tourist and took the watch from him.

Barely Seven minutes later, another young man came to where the two tourist were sitting “raising his hands in a gesture of apology, saying sorry, and then delivered the watch back to its owner”.
The Bizarre, yet extraordinary encounter was capture on the CCTV camera of the bar where they were sitting, Monidee Café.

The town where the incident happened which is Piazza Trieste e Trento is located on the heart of Naples, with the Royal Palace and opera house, the Teatro San Carlo, in pride of place.
It also lead to the famous, colonnaded Piazza del Plebiscito, and bordering the ritzy Chiaia neighborhood, the busy square is known for its cafes and bars, with tourists flocking to the historical Gran Caffe Gambrinus.
The watch was a counterfeit watch, which looked like the ” priceless Richard Mille contraption” it purported to be.
The owner of the bar indicated the return on the watch was not a good gesture, but rather a likely attempt to avoid legal reprisals.
“They brought it back saying ‘Sorry, sorry,’ maybe as an attempt to get him not to report it,” Antonio Visconti told CNN.
