Shocking images from NYC showed that a parking garage has collapsed.One person has been confirmed to have died from the tragedy as many are still feared trapped.
The images are shocking as casualties are expected to rise according to the New York Post.
Many people are said to be trapped as the “parking garage collapsed in Lower Manhattan”.

Pictures taken shows many cars on top of the concave as a woman is even heard screaming “get Out” according to nypost.com reports.

A fire official is quoted to have said “Injuries, deaths expected to change rapidly” .
Meanwhile the NYPD has asked the public “to avoid the area of Ann Street, between Nassau and William Streets, due to an emergency response to the collapse”.
The NYC Sheriff’s Office is said to use the “deck to park their cars while working at the Manhattan office”.
He added that they have accounted for all their personnel.
