Social media reacts to 2 police officers face off over who is the boss. The incident happened in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
The reactions are concerns following a video of two security officers seen in a heated altercation. The video which have been attached to this post shows a Formed Police Unit (FPU) officer identified as Cpl Boakye in an argument with Foase District Police Commander, Supt Albert Quansah.
The incident according to JOYNEWS happened on July 20,2022. This is after the Foase District Police Commander saw three FPU officers conducting a traffic check on the Atwima Yabi-Dida stretch and Supt. Albert Quansah ( Commander of Foase) then cautioned the officers against the exercise.
It is this caution which seem to incensed Cpl Boakye who felt offended by the directive of the Police Commander.
He blatantly refused to comply and the resulted heated exchange between the officers began.
The district Commander then requested Cpl Boakye to provide his Service Number and he responded “meet me at FPU, meet me there. You are not the one who brought me here”.
“I should meet you at FPU?, I will not come there but you will get me” Commander Quansah retorted.

The police Administration has indicated that they are aware of the incident and will be using their internal mechanism to deal with the issue.
It is a clear demostration of two individuals who refused to listen to common sense, but rather their egos. There will be consequences, and it will end in regrets. We must all see this as a lesson and learn to tamed our egos no matter the provocations.
