There is another mass shooting incident and this time it is at the Alabama.
The shooting occurred at Dadeville. It is said to be a small town and the shoot left 4 people dead.
The shooting occurred at a birthday party for a 16 year old. The shooting began at 10.30 pm on Saturday night at Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio.
4 dead in an incident that got 20 people shot.
The disturbing thing is that as many as twenty people were shot at during this unfortunate shooting.
Out of the 20 shot at, 4 of them unfortunately died. As a birthday for a teenager, most of the injured who were rushed to the hospital were mostly teenagers.
Who is the suspect in this shooting?
The police did not name the suspect. It is not clear if there is a suspect or it was a sporadic shooting among the teenagers.
Who are the victims of the Alabama birthday shooting?
One two of the victims include the birthday girl’s brother and a “local high-school football stand-out Phil Dowdell”.
There are reports that “Dowdell’s mother also suffered two gunshot wounds in the mayhem” according to the Montgomery Advertiser.
The Chaplain for the Dadeville Police who is in the person of Pastor Ben Hayes gave a hint of one of them.
Pastor Ben Hayes who is also the chaplain for the local high school football team said:
“One of the young men that was killed was one of our star athletes and just a great guy,” Hayes told the Associated Press. “So I knew many of these students. Dadeville is a small town and this is going to affect everybody in this area.”
Have there been any arrest on this Alabama teen birthday party?
There have not been any arrest yet. Kay Ivey who is the Alabama Governor sent a message concerning the incident: He said :“This morning, I grieve with the people of Dadeville and my fellow Alabamians. Violent crime has NO place in our state, and we are staying closely updated by law enforcement as details emerge.”
Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey decried the violence in a tweet, writing,
Multiple law enforcement agencies have been assisting the Dadeville Police Department, including the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation and the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office.
