The nursing student on TikTok who threatened to kill patients have been summoned by the North East Region where she is based. She was summoned over the comments she allegedly made in a viral video regarding her practice.

The student who is a student of the Nalerigu Nursing and Midwifery College shocked many as she appeared in a video some days ago. The student lamented that she was forced by her family into the profession and that she will do the worst if she gets the chance to work as a nurse.

In the video the nurse who seemed to be miming over a voice over on TikTok threatened “patients to stay away from any facility she may be posted to as she may end up killing them”.
“In case, I have graduated and you see me in the hospital, I mean working in the hospital, I am begging you ladies and gentlemen, run for your life because I may kill somebody there,” the nursing student warned in the video.
The post on social media received a swift reaction from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC).

The council said it disassociate it self from the statement and further announced that “investigations have commenced earnestly to identify the said student and apply the necessary sanctions as enshrined in the Code of Conduct for Nurses and Midwives.”
The Council has also cautioned students against the use of the uniform for non-professional activities.
