The Navrongo Community Health Nurse’s Training College has been fingered in the collection of illegal money.
The college is alleged to be collecting illegal money from first-year students and final-year students. The first years are said to have been charged GHS100.00 for an item which was never supplied. The said item is called a “home visit bag.”
The allegation was made on Word FM 88.3 during their morning show on Friday May 27th 2022, which archornews.com monitored.
According to the Word FM presenter, he knows the individuals behind the collection of the said illegal money. He, however, stayed short of mentioning the name of the said person, only issuing empty treats to the fellow.
He said he has spoken to a number of students who confirm the collection of the illegal money.

He added that the final year students are required to pay GHS1000.00. He said the money is paid without the issuance of receipts. The use of the money is not much known. He said, for fear of failing their exams if the said money is not paid, students always pay the money without complaining.
