Only four out of the 5 teens have been identified. They are Amanda Ferguson, Eric Cox, Breanna Coleman and Jackson Eyre.
The 5 teens were in a Black Kia sedan car. The ages of the five are said to be 18 and 19 respectively.
They were discovered after their car was pulled out of the water at a location which is just next to Interstate 75 .
There are reports that it so much time before officers could bring the car out of the water.
The four who have been identified were workers at the Fort Myers Texas Roadhouse.
Who was Jackson Eyre?
He is said to have graduated from high school.
The South Fort Myers high school graduate was looking forward to attending the Fort Myers Technical College later this fall.
Jackson Eyre’s father, Willie Eyre is said to be a former major league relief pitcher.
Willie Eyre was also the coach of the high school baseball team.
A statement said:
“Jackson embraced so many people and now we need to embrace his memory.”
The school’s baseball Instagram statement further said:
“Anytime someone passes, we lose a little bit of who we are. It hurts even more when it’s one of our own. We ask everyone in the community to pray for his family & friends, as we get through this impossibly difficult time together.”
