He was an American singer, songwriter and pianist.

The musician who was nicknamed  the Killer was born on 29th September,1935.

Jerry Lee Lewis is noted and regarded by many as the first ever great wild man of the “rock n’ roll‘.

Lewis is seen as the founder and pioneer of the Rock and roll as well as rockabilly music.

The famous pianist and singer’s first ever recording was “Crazy Arms” which is reported to have produced by Sun Records in 1956.

His first record was a hit, making  300,000  copies sales and by the following year, the musician rose to fame with “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On“.

His name was not just in the South alone like the first album. The 1957 hit catapult him to the whole  world and made him a household name.

His success and fame vanished all of a sudden. This was when the singer was embroiled in a marriage with his under age cousin.

His marriage with Myra Gale Brown who was only 13 years at the time, was like a dagger that brought his fame to a halt.

Who is Myra Gale Brown?

She is 78 year old  cousin removed and former wife of late popular singer and pianist Jerry Lee Lewis.

Myra Gale Brown later turned Myra Lewis Williams was born on 11th July, 1944.

She is an American author and is famed with her botched marriage with Jerry Lewis.

She got married to Lewis at the age of 13 and the musician lied that she was 15.

It was later discovered that Myra was 13 and that the pair had been married for 5 months.

Lewis was still marriage to another woman by name Mitcham.

The discovery of the lie that Lewis gave affected his rock and roll music at the time.

Lewis had to leave the marriage, divorced from Mitcham and later got married  Myra Gale Brown again.

They had two children together. Steve Allen Lewis  who was born in 1959 and died in 1962 was their first child.

Their second child is Phoebe Allen Lewis who too was born in 1963.

Myra Brown marriage with Lewis ended in 1970. She cited abuse and infidelity on the part of the singer.

This was when the singer entered into drinking and drug use.

Myra later got married to Pete Malito. Pete was a detective she allegedly hired to monitor Lewis on his extra marital affairs.

Her marriage with Pete also lasted for just a year.

Steve and Phoebe Allen Lewis are the children, Lee Lewis had with her underage cousin and ex- wife.

Steve and Phoebe Allen Lewis are the only children that the author and broker had, despite being in two other marriages after divorcing Lewis.

Steve Allen Lewis was born in 1959 and died in 1962. Steve Allen Lewis died by drowning. He is the first born of Myra Gale Brown, her mother.

Phoebe Allen Lewis is the second child that Myra shared with Lewis. She was born on 30th August, 1963, after year after Steve’s death. She was born at the time her father was on a tour in Arkansas.

Myra had tried to inform Lewis of her birth, she did not get the excitement that Lewis would have expressed that a new child was born for him.

Later, in life, Phoebe is reported to have said that Lewis happiness would have been kindle if she had been a boy.

Her mother had to work as a receptionist to cater for her after, the former divorce with Lewis.

Phoebe later became her father’s manager and used to stay with him.

Myra had to work as a receptionist to take care of her daughter Phoebe after her divorce from Lewis.

Phoebe also later became his fathers manager and used to live with him.
