Paul Duncan’s former team, the Notre Dame football team mourned his death in a tweet: “Our prayers go out to the family and friends of Paul Duncan. A great teammate, but more importantly a loving husband and father.”

Duncan was married to his wife  Ellen Duncan with whom he shared two daughters:Dillon and Sloane who are  6 years and 4 years respectively.

She disclosed that the famous players body will be examined for possible cause of death, after which it(the body) will be given out for  medical research.
