The musician who doubles as a music mogul and business man was arrested in May,2022 and released on bail for R2000 bail. His crime was that he assaulted a city power employee who was attempting to fix an electrical fault. The famous musician was alleged to have pulled a gun on him, cocked it and aim at the unfortunate worker.

Also recalled that there was reports that he had bribed a top official to do the bidding for his son.

“Twala’s son, Longwe, was one of the people in the house when Orlando Pirates goalkeeper and Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead at singer Kelly Khumalo’s Vosloorus home in 2014.”

He has since been dragged into the murder and was once forced to  called Radio 702 to clear his name, saying he had been implicated in the murder. He said  he was asleep at the time and got a call from Khumalo that Meyiwa had been shot.

His arrest actually go to prove that he has no influence in his son matter at the time. He himself have added that his arrest proves that no one is above the law.
