Dubbed the “Immaculate Reception”, Franco Harris  died at the age of 72. He was an American footballer who played as a running back.

He weighed 230 Ib and stood at 6feet and 2 inches tall.

He was born on 7th March,1950 and unfortunately passed away on 21st December,2022.

Franco Harris played  for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks respectively.

He was a 1972 first round pick of the Steelers. This was after his college career which was with the Penn State Nittany Lions.

It was the Steelers who gave Franco, his first experience in the NFL and he stayed with them for twelve years.

Franco Harris made a change over and headed to Seahawks.  His last years which was his 13th and 14th year was with the Seahawks.

Franco had the honour of being inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 1990 in the pro division.

Franco was born to Cad Harris, his father who is of African-American Heritage.

His mother Gina Parenti Harris is also a Causative White  from Italy.

His father was part of the World war II and was said to be based in Italy.

Franco Mother Gina is referred as a war bride. She is a from Italy and met him when he came to Italy for the war and hence the name War bride.

Cad Harris and Gina Parenti Harris came back to American when the war finally ended.

Franco was enrolled in Rancocas Valley High School and that was where he graduated.

His next moved after high school was at Penn State University. It was at the University that he played  for Nittany lions.

Cad Harris and Gina Parenti Harris had one other child by name Peter Harris.

He was equally a football player and died in 2006 from a heart attack.
