Loretta Lynn was an American singer and song writer.
She was born on 14th April,1932.
She had a career which spans nearly six decades.
The country music singer had hitsongs like “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man)“, “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind)” among others.
There was a film that was done in 1980 titled “coal Miner Daughter”. It was done based on the country music singer’s life.
Lynn received several awards during her life time for her contribution to the genre.
Her awards came from Academy awards, Country Music Association. She also had 18 GRAMMY award nominations, of which she won three.
Loretta Lynn died in her sleep at the age of 90.
She died in her sleep on Tuesday, 4th October,2022. She is said to have died at her her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
“Our precious mom, Loretta Lynn, passed away peacefully this morning, October 4th, in her sleep at home in her beloved ranch in Hurricane Mills,” the family said in a statement.
The family asked for privacy as they mourn and grieve over her loss.
