The tragic death of Lisa Cash and her two siblings has thrown the Tallaght community in shock and afterwards grievous mourning.

Lisa Cash,18 and  her twin siblings,8 were killed in their home by non other than their 24 year old elder brother Andrew Cash.

They were stabbed to death and the murderer also stabbed Lisa Cash for trying to defend her slain siblings in their Rossfield avenue estate on Saturday.

Why did Andrew Cash killed his siblings in that manner?

Andrew Cash threw his younger siblings bodies down through a window. This was after he was angered by the presence of the police and their attempt to reason with him.

The funeral arrangement of the three siblings are as follows.

The siblings will be reposed at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home. This will be at the Square, Tallaght on Thursday from 2pm to 5pm.

The information had it that “their removal will take place on Thursday evening to St Aidan’s Church, Brookfield arriving at 5.30pm and the Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 10am followed by their burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery”.

The death notice of the three siblings who were said to have been killed violently read:

“Lisa Cash, Chelsea, and Christy Cawley, 4th September 2022 (Rossfield Avenue, Brookfield), Tragically, at home; beloved and cherished son and daughters of Margaret and the late Andy Cash and Billy Cawley and much-loved brother and sisters of Margaret and Mikey.

“Lisa, Chelsea, and Christy will be forever loved and very sadly missed by their heartbroken family, grandparents Martin McDonagh, Martin, and Mag, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-law Michael, nephew Baby David, extended family, and all their many friends”

The Parish Priest:Fr Bill O’Shaughnessy who spoke to the Mirror said “I celebrated mass here about half 10 and only then the news started filtering through about what had happened.

“People started reacting in terms of the shock and dismay. Mass was quiet yesterday because of the shock people had.

The local priest said the community was reeling from the loss.

“A lot of parents came in here before school this morning and lit a candle.

“We are offering a bit of healing. On top of that, it’s about offering a listening ear and indeed a shoulder to cry on.

“An act like this is unnatural. It really is unnatural and that will have its lasting effects on people’s hearts and minds for a time to come,” he said.
