‘Let’s make history together’ is what Raheem Sterling is says as he kick starts his career in Chelsea. Raheem who is the first signing of the owner Todd Boehly said “London is my home”. This was during his first training as the famous player trains with his new team-mates for the first time after switching from champions Manchester City on a five-year deal.
Sterling had completed his medical in the capital before jetting to Los Angeles for Chelsea’s pre-season tour .
He is likely to make his first appearance against Club America on Saturday.
Sterling who is 27 moved on to seek more regular starts after much of an Etihad bench role for much of last season. He stated on Chelsea Instagram account that “So glad to be a Chelsea player right now.
“Honestly can’t wait to get started and yeah, let’s make history together.”

Sterling is the first major signing of the Blues after the new era of Boehly. This was after the controversial manner in which its former bank roller was forced to let go of his beloved club.
Sterling in his first public comments he suggested he is keen to play under ex-PSG chief Thomas Tuchel.
Sterling said: “First and foremost, it’s a pleasure to be here.
I’ve obviously achieved a lot in my career so far, but there is still so much more to achieve.
“I’m really looking forward to doing that in a Chelsea shirt under Thomas’s management.
