The suspect was arrested on Thursday evening.
He is a man in his twenties. He was nabbed in his home. The suspects home is just a mile from the spot where Lauren Heike body was killed.
The suspect is said to be the very one who was seen in “surveillance footage” that the department released previously. His exact name was not given.
He is being seen talking to officers in this photo below.
He was finally taken in a police van after handcuffs were put on him.
How was Lauren Heike killer arrested?
A CBS 5 say he was linked to the murder through a DNA evidence. IT is not clear why the suspect killed Heike and if the two had something in common.
