Simon Delaney is a well know Irish actor, director. He was born on 2nd September,1970 to his father who was a printer. The actor who is a Television presenter is popular with his roles in films and television series such as the Good wife, Delivery Man, the Conjuring among others.

The actor cum director is the host the Virgin Media well followed morning show which is dubbed Weekend AM.

His career in its early days saw him in the “A scare at Bedtime”. One of his most high moment was when Bachelors walk where he was one of the bachelors who were together in Quays in Dublin. The RTE television series rans from 2001 to 2003. Delaney also starred in “On the Nose” where he appeared as a Grogan along with fellow actors Dan Aykoyd and Robbie Cltrane.

Simon Delaney has landed a brand new RTÉ show called On The Roads.

The actor and television presenter is not new at RTÉ as he was part of the three year series on the station called the “bachelor’s walk”. It will however be the famous actor first prime time hosting show with the reputable station.

Delaney will be over a four-part series which will see him look at the big issues facing Ireland when it comes “to road safety, shared mobility, and climate action”.

Delaney will be expected to travel in Ireland to fundamentally change the country’s road safety strategy. This is aimed at reducing deaths on the road by half.
