A California girl has hanged herself in a school. The fourteen year old girl hanged herself in Lindhurst High School.
This is in the California town of Olivehurst. The girl is said to have ran away from her home which has been reported to be not far from the school.
The girl reportedly left home around 6.00am and by an hour later, she hanged herself.
Wendell Anderson, who is the Sheriff for Yuba County told reporters that: “It does appear to be a suicide.”
“It’s an active, ongoing investigation.”
Other students reported saw her body and officials are looking for them.

The community which is said to be a small community have been shaken by her death.
The Sheriff said:“I know I can speak for our entire department when I say we are incredibly heartbroken from this tragedy,” he said.

Who is this girl who hanged herself in a school?
The name of the girl was not disclosed. The death has forced the school to cancel classes on Thursday and has remained closed as of Friday.
The superintendent of the Marysville Joint Unified School District which this school falls under , said in a statement, “Today is traumatic for the whole community of Lindhurst and the entire Yuba County.”
