This is in relation to a suit brought against the “Kwaku the traveler” hit maker.It is an Accra High Court which has dismissed the injunction application brought against Black Sherif by his “ex-financier” seeking to restrict the artiste from performing his song.

The famous injunction was dismissed on Tuesday, July 26,2022. The court in their indicated that the plaintiff, Shadrach Agyei Owusu ( the ex-financier”) failed to argue justifiably why the injunction should be granted.
The Justice, Justice Akua Sarpomaa Amoah stated that the musician will suffer an injustice if the motion was approved, per a report by Ghana Weekend.
You will recalled that the former financier, Mr Owusu sued the musician on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Black Sherif former financier accused Black Sherif of leaving him high and dry to sign a record deal with another label, Empire Entertainment without his approval.
Mr. Owusu in other documents, sought an injunction to be placed on Black Sherif, restricting him from playing at any event until the case has been resolved.
That is not all, the music manager is also asking for an injunction order to be placed on the funds the rapper has accrued through streaming and other revenue sources to ensure he does not squander the money while the case is ongoing.

However, lawyer for Black Sherif, Samson Lardy Anyenini, argued against the injunction and thank the court for the ruling. He said he is wavering the cost against the ex-financier as the parties continue to seek negotiation to resolve the matter.
Who is Black Sherif?
Black Sherif born as Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong is a Ghanaian musician.
He was born on 9th January,2002 in Konogo in the Ashanti region. Famed for hid nickname Blacko due to his thick black skin colour.
Black sherif attended Kumasis Academy for senior high education and is currently at the  University of Professional Studies (UPSA).
