GES invites applications for appointment as Assistant Headmasters/Headmistresses

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has open application for appointment as Assistant Headmasters/Headmistress for second cycle institutions in the Oti region.

The application is opened to all qualified serving teachers on the grade of Assistant Director I or above for consideration as Assistant Headmasters/Headmistresses to fill vacancies that exist in second cycle Institution.

These vacancies exist in the Oti region for now.

The requirement that potential candidates should meet include the following:

An applicant must hold any of the following positions before.

1. Head of Department for three years.

2. Senior Housemaster/Mistress for three years.

3. Guidance and Counselling Coordinator for three years.

4. Head of a public Basic School for five years.

5. Office of the regional/Municipal/ District Education Offices for three years.

The release added that in addition to the above, the applicant should have satisfactory work history and conduct within the Ghana Education service.

GES to close down Rashadiya Islamic Primary School in Bolgatanga

Applicants should fill four copies of application forms. These forms the release say are available at all municipal/district Education Offices.

The service added that completed forms must be accompanied by a curriculum Vitae(CV), a Confidential Report and a completed appraisal forms from Municipal/District Directors and Heads of 2nd Cycle Institutions.

This announcement that came from the Oti region say all applicants should reach the regional Director not later than Friday 19th August,2022.

The final directed all Municipal/District Directors and Heads of second Cycle Institution are to notify all eligible offices within their jurisdiction promptly to enable them meet the deadline.
