Christian Atsu has now being confirm  death. His death was confirmed  by his Turkish club, Hataysport.

In a statement, the club said: “The body of our football player, Christian Atsu, will be sent to his hometown Ghana”

Moreover, Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration gave further details of the recovery of the body of the Ghanaian International.

Their statement said: “The elder brother and twin sister of Christian Atsu and an Officer of the Embassy [of Ghana in Turkiye] were present at the site when the body was recovered.”

but, Who is Christian Atsu?

He was born as Christian Atsu Twasam  10th January,1992.

He is a Ghanaian International player. The 31 year old is currently playing in the  Turkish Süper Lig.

Atsu who stands at 5 feet and 5 inches tall is playing for Hatayspor.

The Ghanaian player who also plays for their national team plays as a winger.

The 31 year also plays as an attacking midfielder.

Christian Atsu international career dates back to his days at Porto. He continue on a season loan with Rio Ave.

The Hatayspor player had a chance to sign for Cheasea in 2013 for a record fee of £3.5 million.

The player had to be loaned again to Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, AFC Bournemouth and Málaga.

He moved to Newcastle United in May 207 after spending the 2016-2017 season with them on loan.

At the national level, Christian Atsu has more than 60 caps, starting in 2012 when deputies for his nation.

He school at the Feyenoord Football Academy at Gomoa Fetteh, in the Central Region of Ghana which was a football based academy.

From the football academy, the young player joined a local club in a town in the central region of his country by name Cheetah FC.

The Hatayspor player is a family man.

He is married with three kids. The name of Christian Atsu wife is Marie-Claire.

Marie-Claire, Christian Atsu wife met her husband, when the Ghanaian was playing for FC Porto in Portugal.

They finally got married in 2012 and happily shared their three children together.

Christian Atsu revealed in an interview with Ghanaian television channel, TV3, how he met his wife.

He told TV3 in that interview that “I met my wife in Portugal and you can see we have a beautiful family. We’ve been together nine to ten years and I just love her.”
