Asesewa SHS student dies in fatal crash while returning from night club

The discussion about the activities of students without the presence of their teachers have been a thorny issue. There is bad news from the ASesewa  SHS in the Eastern region. A first-year Home Economics student of Asesewa Senior High School is the one under discussion.

Asesewa first student died while returning from a night club.

He died in a tragic motorbike accident at Mampong stretch of Somanya to Odumase krobo road while returning from a nightclub.

Batsa Florence, who is 20 years and is currently on vacation as a result of double-track SHS policy was on a motorbike with her female friend.

The motor rider who was heading home from Memorial nightclub in Somanya at about 2:00 am when the accident occurred.

The motor rider Tetteh Patrick Lawer, an oncoming vehicle suddenly veered off to their lane and hence attempted to swerve to avoid a head-on collision but the motorbike crashed.

The rider and the other pillion rider sustained serious injuries but Batsa Florenc, the first year student died on the spot.

The injured are on admission at St Martin’s De Porres Hospital in Argomanya while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue of the same facility.

An uncle of the deceased, one Mr Partey said the deceased will be buried on Friday.

Confirmation by Asesewa Senior High

The Headmaster of Asesewa Senior High School Paul Okoto who confirmed to Starr News  indicated that the deceased was a first-year student who was on vacation.

The Headmaster added that the family came to the school on Wednesday to officially inform management about her death.
